I started my Dan Kibby Fitness journey when i was 37 after spending the previous 18 years on and off writing my own training and nutritional programmes. I had become disillusioned as looking online seeking clarity and answers and all I found was conflicting articles relating to weight lifting and nutrition. I decided to give Dan a call after seeing him on Instagram. I recognised from our initial telephone consultation that Dan was knowledgeable but also had the ‘take no excuses’ attitude that I respected and was looking for. In the first 6 months I made more progress than in all of the previous years of training!
Being accountable ensures I stay focussed every day from the moment I get up for my walk at 5.20am (listening to a motivational podcast recommended by Dan), right the way through all my meals,my training session up to when I go to bed. Everything is structured and that’s the direction I like to have. Dan has not only inspired me but has provided me with a new lease of life and I’m considering doing a bodybuilding contest as this is something I have had in my mind for a while. This is now a realistic goal now I'm training with Dan who can guide me through the journey and give me the honesty I need.
During the COVID 19 pandemic I dieted for a 4 month period whilst only being able to train in my garage. Many times I doubted and questioned myself to the point I was going to give in but a few inspiring words during a check-in call with Dan got me back firing again. He would find ways of conveying ‘it’s not meant to be easy but it will be worth it’ in a not so polite fashion!
Under Dan’s meticulously calculated plan’s and amendments every two weeks I went from 15% body fat down to 7% but only dropping 8 lbs in weight therefore I’d increased my lean muscle. Hopefully the pictures can see just what can be achieved if you employ Dan and follow exactly what he says. Looking forward to the next phase!

I Started training with Dan Kibby Fitness when I was 19 and at my biggest I weighed 15 st 9 lbs and my body fat a very unhealthy 35%. Whilst under Dan’s tuition in 2 ½ years I brought my weight down consistently and gradually to 11 stone 7 lbs and 12% body fat. During this time Dan constantly educated me and challenged to do exercises I never imagined I would be able to… weight dips, weighted pull ups, deadlifting 175 kg and also running 10km races!
Dan has changed my life for the better! He is always available in and outside of the gym for advice and support! He leads by example as he is always in the gym training himself and sets amazing standards by maintaining remarkable strength whilst also competing as an endurance athlete.
